I have never considered that feeling or impulse or whatever it really is to be my "inner child" but I know exactly what you're covering here.

Any changes I have made in my life have been so much more difficult than necessary, and it's because my default way of handling any situation is always so hard to disrupt. It's habit formed after years of practice, really.

I love the way you've summarized the concept in such an easy to understand way, and really clearly expressed how to handle it.

I think that it is important when talking about beliefs to acknowledge that beliefs are made up. So pick a belief that feels good to you. For me I find it freeing to look at the purpose of human existence as a game. There is a purpose but it isn't significant. I would say that the game is self realization. For all of us together to KNOW ourselves and to express our potential. I also like to remind myself that I am just another piece of biology and biologically (and spiritually) my purpose is to support life on the planet. Thanks for the question, Jimmy!

HI Lillian,

I am new here. Barrie sent me over from her blog.

Thank you for making this concept of a purpose so simple and meaningful. I think that too much had been written about this topic to the extend that we are all getting overwhelmed and confuse. Your post here really makes it very easy for us to follow and to truly practice its concept again.

One question: what is the purpose of human existence? If you don't mind, I would love to hear from you before giving you my belief and definition.

Cheers

Nice post Tara. I totally agree that life purpose has to do with creating value for others. It seems so easy to get lost thinking about our own wants and needs such as the perfect career, but often just exploring our own strengths will show us where we can find our life purpose while being of service. Thanks for the post! David

I am not sure it is as easy as this blogposts suggest to find ones true passion / purpose. I Believe that it comes from trial and error and feeling deep inside if the heart beats a little faster. If it does that you are on to something. But the main thing is to get out there and expose yourself to as many different environments as possible. And start as early as possible. Even while you are studying. That gives you the opportunity to test sales, marketing, finance, HR in startups and large corporations.
