What is a contact?

A contact is an individual record for your customers or employees.

Each contact must have an email address to be added into the platform. This will act as the key identifier for that individual.

Contacts are stored per Instance. This means that every instance has its own collection of contacts.

View all contacts

To view all of your contacts, click on the ‘Contacts’ tab on the side navigation panel.

This takes you to the Contacts main page.

At the top, you can filter your contacts by status, and also what consent messages they have responded to.

You can also search for specific contacts using the search bar.

Your contacts are displayed in rows and for each contact, you can see their  ‘Name’, ‘Email’, ‘Status’ and ‘Created’.

On the right-hand side of a contact, you’ll see 3 dots.

Click on this to see the available options.

From here, you can view the individual contact’s ‘Profile’, ‘Feedback’, ‘Consent messages’ and you also have the option to ‘Remove‘ them.

You can also add contacts to your instance on the main contacts page.

That’s a quick overview of your contacts!
